We cooked we cooked! 4 amatuers in the kitchen trying to whip up dinner and we did it in an hour. And the food was FANTASTIC la... Amazing... *motivated* We'll whip up more dinners together. It's really fun supermarketing, cooking, eating and washing up together. Never felt so full since we came here... N it's good old chinese food. Nothing beats chinese food! I'm so missing all the food back home but thank goodness for technology... we have some food seasoning and packet paste to cook some traditional old food.
And nothing beats the fact that my evadearest mum is going to ship stuff over to me! That means i can stop up on more seasoning for our dinners. *yum yum* And food gets us all hyped up... so much so that we even haf a list of long term investments of utensils... n we've gotten our potential menus up... dessert included... n of coz not forgeting our CNY dinner! We found a chinese supermarket here. And it's THE only one... which has really familiar food stocked up. The feeling of seeing familiar food is just undescribable, especially after seeing days of unreadable and senseless swedish goods.
Life is starting to get into routine n meaningful. I'm enjoying life now. Nothing can beat this fun n my fellow companions. So grateful for them or not i'll be a lonely soul stuck grazing grass. Haha... SMU should really have a hall.
Did some self reflection on everything today... from why i'm here, why here, watever is left back home, the past, you, my friends, life in singapore, what we've been taking for granted.*thots filled*
Shall sleep so i can wake up early to catch up with u guys. And more pix to come in time when i'm done collaging them... For now, i'll show off our fantabulous dinner. :P
