Back from Kiruna... It's a splendid place... No words can describe that place. But this post will not be about the brillant place that i've been to... tt would come later...

Came back, showered, did my laundry n somehow it has become an automatic thing to go to the blogs of my dearest friends.

JO I MISS YOU! *hugz* Haven't really talked to u in a long long while... N i miss our sec sch days too... esp tt tiny container classroom. I miss the simplicity of life then. Reading jo's blog reminded me of how it was so wierd coz out of the blue when i was walking on the frozen lake... i turned and told my friend that i wished all 猪朋狗友s back home were here. Somehow i could picture us, the different groups of us having an awesome time there... jia, est, su, jov, jo, jm, lolly, sc, shan, lip, ken, min, sy, chris, chrissy, paul (to my friends here... i'm enjoying ya company as well yar.. :) ) The peace n tranquil... the beauty of the place.. the nature... just lying down n admiring the sky... things i wish i could share with all of you.

shall blog while i wait for my laundry to be done. Mad ass me decided that i should do my laundry at close to midnight for 2 reasons: 1) the laundry room would be emptier 2) i'm leaving for the next few days.. dun want my stinky n sweaty clothes to rot n grow mould. Haha.. So here i am trying to fight my sleepiness n wait for my laundry. Yes like finally i'm sleepy but yet cannot go sleep. Figured gyming is doing its job in making me tired n getting longer hours of uninterrupted sleep.

Was on the bus back... it was a quiet ride back... the buses are all empty... it was pitch dark outside... n a whirlpool of thots just flooded in...

wonder wat back home n sch is like.. though i've heard there's a lot more makan outlets.. Muahaha.. so dead when i go back.. maybe tt's y SMU has such a cool gym.

Went ski-ing on sat.. n suffer the aches on sun n monday too... But i decided to hit the gym nonetheless... n gyming helps manz... Cleared all the aches. I feel like skating... Sheesh...

Since i'm so bored today.. i cooked for them. Nothing special.. Just some boring food which i've decided to experiment on n to satisfy my own craving for dark sauce chicken. Din turn out too well though... Dun like the dark sauce here.. It's way too salty.. ARGH... Then helped my flatmate with supplying her the jap songs she needed... which saw me kinda sorting out my songs on my itunes... 5000 songs... Haha...

Sleep is something which i'm lacking here. Not that i haf lots of work to do... nor lots of activities to do.. but it's something i can't seem to enjoy. Asleep i fall... n awake i am in a few hours... on good nites... i sleep for 4 hours straight.. on lousy nites... i'll be awake at 2 hours intervals. This is slowly draining off my energy. Blehz... Shall try to scout for a bolster.. which seems almost impossible to find.. or maybe a big soft toy... maybe it'll make me sleep better... Haiz...

And i'm snacking all over again.. the gymings all useless...

Anw... so diawz... communication breakdown here xia.. the train tix i ordered turned out to the different timing from the ones i wanted.. but it's still ok... though it's like leaving here 3 hours earlier... just means less sleep in my bed.. not as though i sleep a lot.. Haha..

*screams* I SO AM GOING TO GROW FAT!!!! *screams*

OMG... I just munched on potato chips. WTH... I swear off all sorts of food after dinner... but my mouth was so itchy... so i went to the kitchen... opened the fridge n found oranges which i ate. Then my mouth itched for something salty... N the next thing i saw was pringles. ARGH...
This is on top of the chao ji da kebab i had for dinner la. I had THE WHOLE meal myself. Everyone else had the same thing BUT i was the only one who cleaned up my whole plate. :( Ain't i a pig. And i think my appetite shocked one of the guys. Boo boo... This is bad... I need to exercise more... But at this rate that i'm eating.. no amount of exercise will do the job of preventing the fats from piling up... Got love handles liaoz... Soon i'll be mei ren yao... Argh...
Gyming, ping-pong, skating, ski-ing doesn't seem enough... Need to hit the gym more.. maybe i'll go for classes. Blehz... I need exercise that can help me shed lots of calories... And pls dun tell me SEX. Though it's known to be darn good at burning off the calories. It's not an option.

Rotted yesterday away...
Went to ski & snowboard today. Conclusion.. i think i'll stick to my skis. But then again... i shall give snowboarding another try. Kinda wasn't in the best of the mood today... all thanks to the wonderful ski rental place. It was suppose to be open at the same time as the ski slope BUT it din. And after much waiting n asking ard, the ski rental place was SUPPOSED to be open at 1230 BUT it din coz the guy who was suppose to be on shift wasn't there. Haiz.. So we just waited until 1230 but the guy still wasn't there. The most irritating part is that the shop was open.. the skis n all were staring at u... but coz we din know how to fix n adjust them... we could only stare at them n walk away while others who knew how to fix them could take away the stuff that they wanted to rent. So in the end, the trip that was set out to snowboard was kinda cut short by half a day and we had to settle for skis at first... at least till mid way where we decided to check on the availbility of the snowboards. And so we got our chance at it.
Snowboarding... is fun... but i kept falling. Argh.. Figured that i haf a big n heavy butt n thus i haf problems standing up with the board. That pretty much explains my aching bum now... coz i just kept falling. Haiz.. shall report my bruises tml manz... Now my right hip is hurting... fell n i think old injury is threatening to come back. But somehow the 'tai chi' with our master 'tai chi shi fu' while waiting for the bus that never seems to come (now i appreciate bus stands having the timing that we haf to wait before our bus comes),made it less painful. Haha....

Decided that i dun feel like braving the cold winds and icy roads out there.. n rushing to the bus stop to catch my bus in time for class. Just feel like lazing in my warm room n enjoy the warmth of a new heater. Muahaah....
Downloaded mozilla for my mac... so i can blog properly... &
To my horror... my dear project mate told me i din send her anything. First.. how to send when she just conveniently offline from msn at 1. Second... i sent her... but she simply din check her mail. And thus, the darn report that i spent the nite trying to rush thru would be submitted LATE. And late is a NO NO here... coz the sweds are renouned for their punctuality.. and singaporean me is known for my lateness... as such, the extra effort was put into keeping self awake till i'm done with the report. Back home, i would have just napped n pull stunt the next day. So yes.. WTH..
Slept at 4+ and up at 8+. 4 frigging hours... tired but yet i can't seem to fall asleep... this is kinda irritating... I haf problems falling asleep here... WHY WHY WHY? But apparently i'm not the only one... But tt's not the pt... Haha...
Kiruna trip is planned... left the booking of the tour.. which the dumb dumb guy ask me to call back at 8pm. For once... someone works late in Sweden. Muahaha... But tt would mean i can't get the train tix today.. though i made a reservation liaoz... Hopefully i can get to gooooo... No.. by hook or crook i will get my arse on the 20 hour train ride to Kiruna.
Blogged surf n saw lots of nice pix of pple's v-day. All the romance floating in the air xia.. n all the sweet things that guys do for their gals... *envious* wishes for mine...
Shall go clean up my very dirty room... not coz i'm dirty... but they fixed me a new heater n left me some souveneirs... then go book poland air tix... then go buy phone credits (it's so irritating when ya phone runs out of credits.. thanks goodness i still haf my singapore line... hope it doesn't cost too much to use)... go ice skate.. hmmm... then it's a planless nite... yawnz...

done with my part of the report... but somehow i'm not satisfied with it... Not satisfied with the compiled version too... Haiz... Is it my luck or wat... why do i seem to get slacker grp mates... not that she's lazy n not do her work... but it's just not power enough... I curse n swear at exchange students back home... but here... i'm still against exchange students... even though i'm one of them. Exchange does seem like a holiday.. n our grades are pass or fail.. but u know wat... assignments still haf to be done decently... in fact decently is too lil a word to use. Assignments still haf to be done to our best. Yes... it's coming out of my mouth. The slacker... And slacker as i may be.. i still do my work when the need calls for it n i still care abt the quality of my work... so on exchange as i may be... I STILL DO MY WORK! So everyone pls stop being so shocked that i'm doing work... rushing to meet deadlines. I still haf project n assignment deadlines just like u guys back home... N sometimes i even haf homework k. so dun tell me to F*** care my work.
Work is making me grow fat... since i started researching n writing.. i've consumed...
1) leftovers of my pineapple tarts
2) Grapefruit
3) Wafers... which i bought and had with the fondue the last time
4) dinner which i had noodles, chicken n vege... lots of it... i'm a cow
5) A bar of KEX(wafer choc... something like kit kat) which i couldn't resist eating
6) Cherry tomatos
So far tt's all... showered n brush my teeth n tt shall be all i'm eating for the nite...

trying so hard to write my paper... only 5-6 pages but yet i'm struggling... brains isn't working... so many things to read... wat did i get myself into... this course is more economics than biz... *laments* And this place is one kind. Assignment due in HARD copy at frigging 9am in the morning.. OMG... can't it be softcopy that we haf to submit? ARGH... We're so pampered back home... omg...
More laments... my laundry is taking eternity to be done. Been at it since i got back at 3 n now it's 7+. Sheesh... Hoes of staying alone. Though i'm still behind the idea of staying alone. Shiok la...
Finally my moolah is here... i've got money to spend.. Lala... Happy like bird!
And my mac is showing all the pix of me basking in the sun... i miss the sun manz...

Brillant... It's swedish class now... The class is nicely packed with pple... N Mr Espanol is like sitting behind me. Muahaha... But he's darn noisy... yack yack yack... if only he was yacking with me... This class is highly boring... which iexplains why i'm here blogging... Figured that i'm better off self-studying swedish... with the extra moral booster from the fact that i managed to get most of the darn blardy assignment right... that woman has taken joy in handing out HOMEWORK (as word which we barely hear back in SMU) and making us submit the next class. And so diligent me piled up on the coffee last nite to finish that darn worksheet... n guess wat... she merely went thru in class. WTH. If i knew, i would just have started on my paper. GRRRRR....

Din get to start on my paper last nite as wanted. A friend came over to talk cock n drink wine. Yes at some ungodly hour of 2am... Talked all the way to 6am... slept for 3 hours n i was up again... Oh my my... I want to sleep... *yawnz* It's interesting to talk to new pple... discover more about pple and their culture n lifestyle. Esp asian living in another country. Conclusion: we asians r just gluts. When we gather, we only bask in the all-time favourite topic: FOOD. So unlike the ang mohs that engage in political & economic talk. Rather interesting observation.

Waiting for this class to end and the other class to start. It's horrible... So many classes today... n i still have a project meeting to discuss for my paper that is due this friday. clueless about what to write. Later going ice-skating too... Haha... and still deciding if i wanna go club tonite.. though i curse n swear that i'll stay off clubbing here for awhile. Haha...

It's a nice n sunny day. I miss the sun n being able to bask in the sun... Gonna be a hectic day. Everyday seems like a hectic day but yet i still complain of boredom.

Vday... n my free day... n a pretty much planless day(hmm... other than a preplanned lunch... n an invitation to another residence for some international dinner which i kinda rejected, making my day very much planless) ... haiz...

Dragged myself out of bed n house to go for the long planned sushi lunch with john, a canadian... rated as one of the cute ones but not by me... He was nice... n friendly... Lunch din seem so nice.. but the shopping after lunch when he came along seems much better. At least my impression of him got better. It would be nice to really make n be friends with him... Hmm... Shall see how...

Hit the gym today... Feels good... I miss SMU gym... Haiz... But i shall make do... Feels like i'm back in SN's gym... a lil... coz of the equipments. My nice flatmate told me i should go for bodypump... Hmmm.. Maybe i should. Think it's fun... though she warned me abt how tiring it can get. Haha... Anw... lost my appetite for the day... but tt's good i guess... been eating a lot of late...

Went to dalvic for the international dinner thingy... but with my friends.. n the orginal person who invited me over. It was so so...

Anw it was a boring day. Life is full of surprises... but no surprise came. Haha... Doesn't matter... as long as i'm happy :) No... i got a surprise! I was surprised when i checked on my blog n realized that i got lots of taggies! *happy gal bounces, pounces n dances ard* Thanks all my darlings! You all made my day :D I think i've been bouncing n dancing ard a lot nowadays... it's so carefree... sometimes i wish i could dance... haha... Oh n i realize i almost got a surprise. But it din fall thru... I guess the thot counts yar... Tt nice person went shopping & wanted to get something... n get my roomie to put in my room for me. Haha... Kinda sweet... Tt's enough to put a smile on my face. I'm easily satisfied. Haha... Back to doing my work... sighz...

It's funny to celebrate V-day overseas. The mood doesn't seem to be lingering around... very unlike Singapore. Maybe the mood would kick in tml. Haha... Prolly go out see lots of couples being tian mi mi on the streets... Nothing new here.. Since there r like tons of couples all over... Dun i just wish i had someone too.... someone to spend this day with... Muahaha... But i guess wat someone said is true.. won't i rather everyday be a v-day n spend it with the person i love. Yeah... When u r with ya loved one... everyday is blessed... everyday is a v-day... just that many of us just dun stop to realize n cherish those moments.

It's been a long while since i've spent V-day alone. This is prolly a change... alone in a foreign land... I still remember the last v-day pretty vividly. The lil surprise.. Life is full of surprise... maybe i'll get mine later... haha.. but chances r sooo slim... Nvm... Will find something to do tml...

ONE MONTH IN SWEDEN!!!! but it feels like i've been here for a long long time...

Getting lazier as the day goes by... the cold is retarding me... me in general...

Woke up early on sat to go to the famous market here...

Qn: Why wake up so early just to go to the market?

Ans: Hmm.. Coz this place isn't like Singapore, where there are markets everyday... The market is open on saturday from 7am to 2pm. Haha...

Qn: So wat's the attraction?

Ans: It is (suppose) to sell everything. And it's a carpark converted to a market on sat. Haha... But guess wat... the market is a disappointment. (tt explains the suppose in brackets. ) It's somewhat like singapore's pasar malam... tt sells everything... clothes, hardware stuff, chapalang stuff... only difference is that it has stalls that sell fresh fish, meat, sausage, cheese, eggs and bread. The bread stalls r like omg n tamade good lah... Okie maybe coz i'm a sucker for bread. All the bread looks so nice... so nice that i just want to buy them all.. Haha... Shall buy one a week... then i can get to try all their bread here. And the donuts here are yumilicious. Finger licking good la... sheesh... haha... shall post up pix soon. Haha... Oh... and some stalls are made out of vans... so tt's one of the biggest difference to pasar malam. Haha... I miss pasar malam... n all the snacks tt i can buy. Haha...

Did i mention, we bought table tennis bats. Muahaha... it's amazing how we come here to play ping-pong. Haha... All the way here to play it. Oh well... but that's our 2nd entertainment in line after skating... n cooking for me... (n someone complain tt i cant cook... hmmph... no more food for u! To pple in singapore... by the time i get back... my skills should be better so u guys will get the better food. Haha... N SKs... our next x'mas dinner would be cooked by me n not my mum.. Haha... )

So i got to use my skates like yesterday. Managed to hunt down the skating ring *3 claps for self & emz* The ring is really huge la... it's actually used for ice hockey matches. HAha... Skating is fun... n i can make a u-turn @ a relatively high speed... but i think i look unglam doing that... Haha... I shall master ice skating... then maybe when i go back... i can blade much better. Haha...

And sunday was spent nuahing away... sheesh... n i really meant nuah... haha... but only good thing abt nuahing is that my diet plan can work.. coz i only got up for dinner. Haha... Got a unexpected fone call today which left me in a i-dunno-mood... nvm.. shall rant elsewhere..

Back to my darn swedish assignment... !@#$%^&*()_+ wish i could rip the 2 pages of assignment apart. Haha... Sleepy... work makes me feel like sleeping... but somehow i can't fall aslp...

I miss nice good parties where i can just drink in peace n still know tt i'm safely taken care of. And shucks.. how come poland sounds like blardy blasting good shit. It's just another day...Sighz... Life is getting a lil boring here.. Blehz... Went for class.. then went out with ty n jy. Suppose to go shopping but we ended up at VIP Video... N instead of getting videos... we ended buying like lots of sinful chocs la... It's like OMG... sinful... We bought really yummy chocs... Limited edition red cherry kit kat... Hmmm... Do we haf it in singapore??? And nice liquer chocs... Omg... *orgasmic*
Anw... the key highlight of the day was wat we did in the afternoon. Hehe... It was sooo fun la... *secret* muahhaa... The silly lil things we do... I love this life manz... Had bak kut teh for dinner. Hehe... And you know wat... we should start planning our dinners early so we can get better food... The soup was shiok to the max... but even better if we could boil it longer. And we're just gluts... While having dinner, we decided to boil the green beans n make green bean soup.. N itchy backside me had to suggest ice cream... which i duly went back to my flat to get them alongside some new year goodies n mandarin oranges. Muahah...
Happy... my holiday plans r starting to come up @ least with the lund side... and possible travels together... All Jun's fault... get me all excited abt travelling la... I can't wait for them to come visit la... So fun... looking forward to it... Shall whip up a nice dinner... then we all singaporeans can gather AGAIN. Like reunion... Muahah... Let's see... wat shall we haf... Chicken rice, curry, vege, wanton (duno why i'm craving for it) & choc fondue??? Haha... Good? But i'll need help...

I hit the gym today! Yes like finally. Haha... But i still miss SMU's gym.... but wat i miss more is my gyming buddies... esp jia... and how every morning we'll just whine abt not wanting to gym but we still gym anyhow. The gym here isn't as good as the one back home. It's better than the VJ ones... quite similar to the SN ones... the series below to the SN ones... not so high tech as SMU. Haha... And i'm unfit after the long stop from gyming... n the extra calories i've gained since i'm here. (dare not get on the weighing machine... but i dun haf one either n dun plan to get one)
So i shall visit the gym more regularly... I need a gym buddy here or not i'll just be so unmotivated.. Blehz... And and But guess wat... i din bring my keep-fit clothes. Sighz... Either i've got buy or get mummy to ship them over. Haha... Might just be cheaper to ship them over. Haha... Going for Capeiro (duno how u spell it) tml to check it out... till i can exactly tell u all wat it is... it looks fun.. but tiring...
It snowed really heavily today. Machiam a blizzard. And u can literally hear the snow hitting against ya hood. Haha... But it was fun... an experience to walk ard in such heavy snow... it's like darn heavy rain but it comes down as snow n the best part is u dun get wet. Haha... And the wind was strong... the road was filled with snow. It was a tiring walk to the bus stop... Battling against the wind n the snow tt keeps hitting against ya face. Feels a lil like i'm going to be blown away... Good exercise though... If this weather continues... i won't haf to go to the gym liaoz... haha...
Had a nice long chat with my flatmate today. It was a thoughtful chat... at least now living the flatmate lifestyle is a lil more to wat i want it to be :P

I got wind of news of nice n good n CHEAP shopping at coppenhagen. I WANT TO GO!!! I want ot shop... though i'm really broke now...

I wanna get ice skates too.. nice white ice skates.... blehz...

It's another failed attempt to study my swedish. *yawnz* It ended up in me finding alternatives entertainment like catching up on everyone's life... via blogs since the time is the obstacle.
I suck at school work. Suck at studying.
And i have horribly self control... esp when it comes to food. It's alwiz a failed battle against food. HOW? I'm going to become a P.I.G... I need to hit the gym. But the cold is a great hindrance to me getting my arse off my bed.
And my room heater isn't working... so i'm freezing here. Blehz... I need some warmth! But i can't put that on my nick for fear of......
I miss being tan. I'm turning WHITE (it's my fav colour but i dun like being white) I want a tan... (tan = golden brown colour... not BLACK. coz apparently SOMEONE doesn't know wat TAN means)
I miss hugging my bears. THe bears that can definitely keep me warm here lah...
Did my grocery shopping today. Need to do some toiletries shopping soon. Getting bored of my one n only shampoo...
And for once i'm left alone tonite (*keeps my finger cross*)
Prolly not travelling this weekend though i feel like it... maybe i'll go over n visit some pple...
